Artists’ Health Insurance Resource Center

From the Actors Fund, “a nonprofit human services organization founded in 1882,” and which serves all professionals (not just actors) in film, theater, television, music, opera, and dance through a variety of programs, comes the Artists’ Health Insurance Resource Center ( www.ahirc.org).

AHIRC’s services are available to all entertainment and arts-related professionals.

Its Web site states that “The Center identifies alternative routes to coverage and local resources for care for performers, visual artists, stagehands, filmmakers, musicians, artisans, and other self-employed and episodic workers.”
