What You Need to Know About Mercury in Fish and Shellfish

In March 2004 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provided “advice for women who might become pregnant, women who are pregnant, nursing mothers, and young children” with respect to the consumption of fish and shellfish that contain traces of mercury.
